Hi friend! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Anna Logan and I am the face behind Hallelujah Hustle. My prayer for this blog is that it would be a place for you to sit, read, and be encouraged.
A few years ago when I started walking closely with the Lord, I developed a deep love for journaling. In a season without many close friends, my journal was an outlet for me to process my thoughts, emotions, and prayers. I found myself journaling about specific thoughts that God was teaching me, writing out my prayers, and even just documenting my days throughout the week. Through this method of written processing, the Lord drew me close to Himself and gave me a love for writing. Since then, I often find myself processing through deep truths with God via my journal, but then sharing my findings with friends through texts or Marco Polo (iykyk). I love love love processing things in private with God, and then being able to share what He’s taught me with other people. I have toyed with the idea of creating a blog on multiple occasions, and have even written a couple of stand-alone blog posts during college, but I never seemed to have the time or excitement to fully jump into it… until now!
My husband and I just moved so he could begin working as a Youth Pastor, which has given me more free time to focus on writing and putting my thoughts onto paper. This blog is likely going to be pretty eclectic. I plan to write articles related to specific things that the Lord is teaching me, but it will also include things specific to teenage girls, wives, and women in general. I would love to include all things cooking, DIY-ing, and home-related as well. Honestly, who knows what will come from this, but I am excited to see what the Lord has in store!
As one of my favorite hymns says:
“Praise to the Lord! Oh let all that is in me adore Him.
All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before Him.
Let the Amen sound from His people again;
Gladly for aye we adore Him.”
Hallelujah! To God be the glory forever and ever.
